We have two “barn” kittens, Laverne (left) and Shirley (right), who like to try to run into the house every time the door opens. Their food is out in the barn, so they’re supposed stay out there. They were obtained for rodent control, although Laverne seems to be more of the hunter. Shirley is fatter and wants attention all the time. | |
We have three wether goats: Gibbs, Louie and Charlie. Gibbs, the white one, is the boss and he is very needy in terms of getting affection. He likes to rub his head against my leg and nudge me while I work, unaware that his horns leave bruises! They all call to us from their pen. Especially when they want food! |

And life wouldn’t be the same without our Bella dog…the German Shorthair Pointer who is afraid of the chickens. And the kittens. And isn’t too thrilled by the goats, either. |
