Eggs for Sale?
We do sell eggs produced by our free-ranging hens. However, periodically our flock needs a refresh (hens age too, you know.) While we don’t typically cull the whole flock, we do need to raise more baby chicks. At this point (Summer 2019) our egg production is fairly slow and we only get about two dozen per week. Because of the slow output, we’re not taking orders online at the moment.
Contact us directly if you’re interested in getting some eggs and we’ll see what we can do.

How We Raise Our Animals
This is a hobby farm. We generally don’t slaughter animals. All animals are given access to fresh air outdoors and free range grass/bugs/seeds/weeds, and supplemental feed. The barn is the central shelter for the animals so they can get out of the wind, rain, snow, or heat. We don’t clip wings, disbud horns, or declaw. We do have the animals spayed or neutered unless we intentionally want babies (and we will let chickens and ducks set on eggs to hatch their chicks occasionally.)
The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated
